Royal Stewart Entertainment of Princeton Selected to Produce Program for Darfur Fundraiser Project
Warner Brothers Records and Amnesty International Appoint James Boyd of Royal Stewart Entertainment to Helm High-Profile Lennon Music Project
(PRINCETON, NJ) Royal Stewart Entertainment, a film and video production company based in Princeton, NJ, was selected to create a behind-the-scenes film documenting one of the most comprehensive music fundraising efforts on behalf of the worldwide effort to save the people of the Darfur region of Africa’s western Sudan. The first CD in the multi-part music series, “Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur,” will be released on June 21 by Warner Brothers Records. The centerpiece theme of the project is the music of John Lennon, whose songs will be covered by over 50 artists when the “Instant Karma” project is complete.
“I am honored and proud to have been asked to have Royal Stewart Entertainment participate in this worthwhile project,” said James Boyd, Executive Producer. “What makes it particularly special is that Yoko Ono has generously granted rights to John Lennon’s entire solo songbook to Amnesty International for this project.” The first CD features the group Green Day performing Lennon’s “Working Class Hero,” and R.E.M covers “#9 Dream.” In addition, Christina Aguilera performs “Mother,” The Black Eyed Peas sing “Power to the People,” and Jack Johnson presents Lennon’s classic song “Imagine.”
Royal Stewart will be producing two programs for the project to run on PBS Stations nationwide, as well as on their In-Flight Entertainment distribution network. The Independent Film Channel is also scheduled to air the documentary programs as well as other networks as they receive the program.

Scheduled to premiere this Fall 2007, The Illuminating Eye, will showcase for the Chinese language community some of the finest treasures in Western Art. Since the rise of communism, the Chinese community has had little access to experience and appreciate art from the West, in particular, work from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance. The Illuminating Eye will present these never-before-seen masterpieces of painting, sculpture, theatre, music, and dance to Chinese audiences worldwide.
Royal Stewart Entertainment, celebrating more than 12 years of their award-winning PBS program Profile of a Performing Artist, is dedicated to providing the public with quality arts programming.
